This week’s EKG comes from my friend Sam in Miami.  His patient came in with a chief complaint of, “I feel like my heart is going to explode.”  This is the ekg that was taken:

Couple of questions here:

  • 1) What’s going on?
  • 2) What makes a heart beat this fast?
  • 3) How do you want to treat it?
