Welcome to Rads Review. This will be a weekly asynchronous assigned topic to help improve your Radiology Reviewing skills. As EM doctors, you are expected to read x-rays and CT heads sometimes without a radiologist’s input. We are not asking you become a radiologist but you need fundamentals to view your own images both for your clinical evaluation and when you work in the community (Radiology is not always available).
How it works:
- Each week a topic will be assigned on the weekly content page.
- There will be free weeks = when there is no regular conference day
- i.e. cadaver labs, Resident Retreat Day, ITE, Transitions, JC, Holiday Breaks, joint conferences, etc.
- These weeks will have no posted content for review and give you extra time to complete all the quizzes by the end of the block
- The new weekly content will be posted Thursday Mornings at 0500.
- Each session should take you ~15-20 minutes.
- You are welcome to review topics & quizzes at any time but quiz answers will be posted after each block ends.
- Quizzes are due by the end of each block (Thursdays by Midnight).
- The quizzes are designed to help you determine normal vs. pathologic and are not meant to trick you.
- We are keeping track of who does the quizzes and scores.
